the production association “Cosmos” (the organization of the state corporation “Roscosmos”)
fulfilled the last two flights on the aircraft Tu-134Ak
and therefore cease to operate this type of aircraft.
In final flights, aviation bloggers and aviation lovers took part.
Airplanes Tu-134A with side rooms RA-65994 and RA-65995 began to be operated since 1984 in the border troops of the USSR.
Since 1993, the aircraft has been used by the State Transport Company “Russia”,
since 2010 – Special Flash Detachment “Russia”.
In 2016, airplanes were transferred to the center of operation of the ground-based space infrastructure
(Roscosmos organization) for the operation of the Cosmos airline.
They performed air carriage from the Aerodrome “Vnukovo-3” leadership and specialists of the Rocket and Space Industry of Russia on the Baikonur cosmodrome, East and Plesetsk, in the city of Presence of Roscosmos organizations, sanitary and evacuation flights.
Airplane Tu-134Ac, having 4 passenger cabin and accommodating 28 passengers played an important role in the special tasks of the airline “Cosmos”, oriented on the needs of the rocket and space industry of Russia.
