It's been silent for a few days here. Haven't seen any updates from the participants. However I can not imagine that with the current (fast) evolving situation in Ukraine there are many participants that are actualy still considering to come to Leeuwarden (especially the PoAF) . And even if a few do send aircraft; would they still have enough A/C to conduct the exercise in such way that it actually has some purpose?According to Flugzeugforum, the GAF has canceled her participation.
Apart from some insight into your imagination there is no news value in this remark, nor a question. Can we go back to topic and refrain from fishing to securities that cannot be given?Thermal wrote: ↑07 Mar 2022, 09:35It's been silent for a few days here. If Frisian Flag is still a go; we could probably scrap the Polish Mig-29’s of the list. The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America. -Polish Government website
The US already rejected this plan...Tijnvandebeld02 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2022, 21:31If Frisian Flag is still a go; we could probably scrap the Polish Mig-29’s of the list. The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America. -Polish Government website
For now.... But that's completely off topic of course. Whether this transfer happens or not, I'm quite sure the Polish won't be coming to Leeuwarden, not with Fulcrums and not with Vipers. Hopefully there will be enough participants left to hold the exercise after all!Snipes wrote: ↑09 Mar 2022, 06:47The US already rejected this plan...Tijnvandebeld02 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2022, 21:31If Frisian Flag is still a go; we could probably scrap the Polish Mig-29’s of the list. The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America. -Polish Government website
