SINGAPORE AL versus DHL

Post by YS11 »

‎Singapore Airlines and DHL have signed a deal on cargo transport between Singapore and the United States. As part of this, the airline will operate cargo flights with five Boeing 777Fs on behalf of DHL.‎

‎The first of the five Boeing 777Fs will be delivered in July 2022, another one will follow in October and the remaining three will come in 2023. The aircraft will have a hybrid colour scheme, combining dhl's corporate identity with that of Singapore Airlines.‎

‎Singapore Changi Airport will be home to the cargo planes. Singapore Airlines will provide the crew for this and also does the maintenance.‎

‎DHL announced earlier this week that it had ordered additional Boeing 777Fs. Singapore Airlines recently placed an order for the Airbus A350F, which is to replace the Boeing 747-400F.‎
