I have the opportunity to travel to Kyrgyzstan for a month, soon.
No fixed plans yet, except for the flights.

Does anyone know the do's and dont's for aviation related photography?
Or any sites / locations where I can (hopefully) find some Russian build relics?

Main goal is to enjoy nature, culture and cuisine. Aviation on the side.

Would like to avoid breaking rules and facing law enforcement in such a country.

I have only been to Bishkek / Manas IAP; last time was 9 years ago. Given that Manas has been used by the military, I suspect that significant security measures will be in place. The terminal building, once airside, offers ample photo opportunities for aircraft parked on the civil ramp, as there is an enormous amount of large windows. I would keep a low profile though, if I were you. Good luck and looking forward to any pictures you might take:-)
