The Colombian Air Force retires its B727

Post by f4phantom »

The Colombian Air Force (FAC) has decommissioned its Boeing B727 aircraft.

The aircraft registered FAC1204 and baptized as "Vulcano", served in the Transport Group No. 81 of the Military Transport Air Command (CATAM), based at the "El Dorado" Airport in Bogotá.

The Colombian Aeronautical Industry Corporation (CIAC) said goodbye to him in the following way through social networks: «Our corporation says goodbye to the Boeing 727-1204, flagship aircraft of the Colombian Air Force, to which we give all the support in the maintenance program throughout its history in the different operations. It was an honor to have served you."
