Most likely the Hornets that are/were based at Lask? As the Gold KC-46 went to the east of Germany to pick up the fighters.

I am told they were F/A-18s from VMFA-312, these were indeed based at Lask after participating in Cold Response. Any serials known? Here's hoping

Heads up: Gold41 (ads-b 15-46009) has just taken off from The Hall. This should be for the second trail of VMFA312 F/A-18s from Lask to Lajes. If it follows the same route as Gold31 yesterday expect it overhead eastbound around 13.45 lt and back westbound with chicks some 2 hours later.

It seemed that Gold41 was on his/her way back above eastern germany.

Is he perhaps flying a more southerly route than yesterday?

Just slightly (so far); I'm a bit more concerned about the build-up of clouds over here...

Visible over Deventer, indeed with chicks. No trail today, so more difficult than yesterday.
