We did leave by 12:30 to call at Stauning and grab a couple of wrecks so we did miss the arrival of the Swedish SAAB340 support and the solo from T-425 T-17 and C130J B-537. None-the-less none of interest.
Concerning MH-60R N-979: MH-60R N-978 performed displays several times during the day and once it landed after its solo display it was towed to one of the "garage box" type of hangers". This was around 2 pm (did not check the exact time on my watch, but give or take). This box was open the entire day and empty (of course). It was the far right hand side one seen from the car park accross the runway. Minutes later, N-979 was towed out of the middle box in the same row, and placed on the tarmac in front of these hangars. It was still there, not showing any activity by the time we left (just after 3 pm).
So for those who saw a MH-60R outside the hangar boxes post 2 pm and assumed this was the one which flew, this actually was N-979 !!
On the spottersday (18-6) we were on the bus to the north side to photograph the demo aircraft. While still on the south side I saw what looked like a T-33 sitting on the tarmac. Can anyone give me an id of this aircraft?
