undefinitized modification (P00014) to a previously awarded, fixed-price incentive (firm-target), advanced acquisition contract (N0001920C0009). This modification increases the ceiling to procure long lead-time materials, parts, components, and effort for the production of three Lot 15 F-35A aircraft and nine Lot 16 F-35 aircraft for the government of the Netherlands.

earlier this week, Belgium has shown intentions to order additional F-35A's, this was envisioned in the STAR-plan, but that was scrapped after protest by the socialist- and eco parties, the funding went to R&D.

however, there are plans that funding will be made available in the next defence plans for 2024.
