While having a family holiday in the Eifel we arrived at Spangdahlem just to have a quick look. We stood just under the landing lights. Minutes after our arrival we saw the first tanker zoom over, then the second. I had hoped/wished for the Growlers but didn't think that would be realistic. So very excited when these two came in. We (all family) stood under the landing lights for almost an hour and saw two tankers and the two Growlers! Perfect day! :-)

A few days earlier we visited Nörvenich. Also for an hour and saw several Eurofighters and Tornados come in. So a family holiday with VERY little time for spotting, can still be great!
