Politicians in Austria want to cancell the event. Due to invironmental reasons. Now the war in the Ukrain is also mentioned. According to local newspapers, there will be an investigation.

Hope it will go on, as I need something to look foreward to after solang.
I can not imagine after all the preparation they will cancell, but still...

wo man wegen des Ukraine-Krieges eine Verschiebung vorschlägt.

Die Planungen für die AIRPOWER22 laufen unvermindert weiter,
das Datum der AIRPOWER22 bleibt der 2. und 3. September 2022.

Dies gab Verteidigungsministerin Klaudia Tanner heute am Rande eines Pressegespräches
zur Vorstellung der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie für die AIRPOWER22 bekannt.
Übrigens, mit den Maßnahmen der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie werden heuer 30 (!) Prozent an CO2 im Vergleich zu 2019 eingespart – großartig, nicht?

I asked some people in Croatia and everyone said, that it is highly unlikely, that a MiG will participate. Even one of the pilots commented, in a group, that it will not happen. So lets wait and see.
