The second landing of a German AF C-130J at Wunstorf happened at 1.8. with 55+02 of the Deutsch-Französische Lufttransportstaffel Rhin/Rhein arrived from Evreux around 9.45h and departed at 11.48h.
After ten days travelling to and from Darwin/Australia in support of „Rapid Pacific 2022“ (and exercises Pitch Black and Kakadu) A400 LTG 62 54+37 and 54+38 arrived back at Wunstorf in the afternoon of 15.08. It was the first time for German AF A400M flying that far.
Departing for the same destination on 13.08. was 54+14 plus 54+21 and 54+29 (both on 14.08.) all taking off from Neuburg/Donau. All aircraft took slightly different routes to and from Australia.

CH-53GA 85+04 of HSG 64 from Holzdorf
Atlas C.1 ZM411 of No.30./70./206.Sqn.
and as a highlight

Active were the following LTG 62 A400M:

while 54+07, 54+20 plus three unidentified were on the ramp.

LTG 62 A400M 54+18, 54+37 and 54+29 departed on 16.09. as GAF464, GAF363 and GAF339 respectively for their long journey to Australia.
Via Alaska or Hawaii it seems....
Ground distance from Wunstorf to, e.g. RAAF Pearce is 7478,9 NM.... But with a mean true track of 133 it seems they are not taking the shortest route...
