Many thanks, and confirmed by the airport spokesman, see the 09/15/2022 07:00 PM entry here (in German): some 20 aircraft are expected to arrive. The VIPs themselves will fly in on the 3rd, supporting delegations may arrive the day before. All government planes are expected to stay on the ground until the summit has ended on the 4th. Some African flights are on the preliminary planning list as well, but as usual all details could still change in the end.

Updates on the newspaper website linked above include that police helicopters will be patrolling the airport and city area, there will be reserved airspace over the city, snipers will be in place and a large police presence will guard the securitiy of both politicians and expected protesters. No idea how this will work out for the spotting possibilities at FMO (which I will miss btw, being out of the country exactly then :bonk:).

Separate from the G7, the airport website states there will be no flights from 14 November 07.00LT until 30 November 2022, 20.00LT due to runway renovation.

Planned are 10 aircrafts, many of them civil.

Possible Mil candidates should be German FBS, Italian A.319, French Falcon 7X, USAF C-32.

Kanada and Japan could come in civil Airlines (first class) via Frankfurt. UK will be civil chartered.

ADSB will help.
