Captured Mi-8 in the Kherson region. Seems like the Z is painted over Ukrainian markings, so probably captured by the Russians early in the war and now back with its rightful owners. Just like Kherson itself!!

And don't forget to watch the video in the post underneath it. And 87% of these people voted to be part of Russia?? My a$$...

Could very well be Mi-9 "191" which was stored at Kherson in late 2021.

The Mi-8 or Mi-9 helicopter have a FSB or Interior Forces marking.

Now also videos going around of a Mi-24 being captured by Ukrainians. Seems like same airfield and looks like another former Ukrainian bird to me.

And this video is allegedly of a Russian jet getting hit near Bakhmut. I cannot see the hit, though it looks like it is on fire when it passes the troops making the video. Interesting bit, to me, is that if indeed it is Russian, it is the first image I have seen of a Russian Su-24 in action. Ukrainians have claimed several of them shot down in the Kherson area, but never provided any proof of it.

Also the first videos are emerging of Chornobaevka and the total destruction there. Many wrecked vehicles, but so far no image of wrecked helicopters.

And here is one of the (drone) videos of Chornobaevka, with a Mi-8 and Mi-24 visible. The two earlier mentioned ones by the looks of it. Both parked on the runway.

There is small units with Su-24 based at Lipetsk, Marinovka, Morozovsk and Voronezh-Baltimor,

Marinovka have based Su-30SM and Su-34, with 24 Su-24 in storage.

The navy on crimea has large units with Su-24 based at Novofedorovka and Gvardeyskoye.

I am aware of the Su-24s in the vicinity of Ukraine indeed (including that some were destroyed in that attack on an airfield in Crimea), but as I mentioned, I have yet to see confirmed evidence of any of them in action over Ukraine. The video I linked to should be that proof (at least mentioned as being a Russian plane by all who post it), but it is not clear from the video itself.

Here is an interesting thread about Chornobaevka and what has been destroyed there. The thread does imply though, that all helicopters were removed from there by mid March and probably have not come back.
