Most of the small stuff (AH-1Z, UH-1Y and AH-64E) was seen on the 19th. They were seen from the east side, near the threshold of 26, and were all departing north east, to the 'Sandpit'.

Local times, from the photos, are:

17/10 departing:
1204 168789, SN05

19/10 departing:
1203 SM47, 03400 (with Longbow)
1206 HF72, MV44, MV31
1208 SM48, 03383
1217 118 (Mil 24, missed off the list!)

F-35B 169920/02 carried no markings except for the 02.

Did you manage to identify the unmarked F/A-18D? It was at the inner end of the middle row of Hornets, in front of the Growler row.

I read off ES-13 from the other side, so including the 'E', but indeed the squadron number was painted over there as well.
Regarding the unmarked Hornet, unfortunately not. I am also still looking for that one, but can't find it in other logs either.

Thanks for posting the many reports for Yuma, which is great, but with so many reports there are also errors. I've seen different squadrons or modex mentioned for the same BuNo. So, I started to work on a list to get the tie-ups correct with photoproof. Needless to say; PHOTO means photoproof of BuNo / Modex / Unit. Hope this is of use.

I was there at sunrise on the 17th and read those listed below although I only read '14' from 8662 and not the YW code. I also have VMM-365 down for it.

The others in brackets in Chris's list are correct as I read those too.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info! Unfortuantely I was there on the 19th, so without confirmation they were still there, I can't put them in my log. Unlike you we only arrived around noon, coming from El Centro, so we had troubles reading all the stuff on the ramps (and most of our group were photographers anyway, so I was the only one reading the numbers....).
