612 was noted by me in Chateaudun in 2014 (as wreck, but clearly identifiable).Wijgert IJlst wrote: ↑12 Jun 2023, 21:43 In addition to it, the 612 had crashed in Afghanistan in May 2011. It was recoverd/blown-up by the USMC. So it might have been a mispole/misread... or just a tailpiece orso.
Merci Sjoerd! They have cleared out Chateaudun recently, would nog guess why… but it could have ended up at Ochey after that.Sjoerd wrote: ↑12 Jun 2023, 22:49612 was noted by me in Chateaudun in 2014 (as wreck, but clearly identifiable).Wijgert IJlst wrote: ↑12 Jun 2023, 21:43 In addition to it, the 612 had crashed in Afghanistan in May 2011. I also walked round this shelter area and it wasn’t there. Here’s a picture of it at Chateaudunben_sadler wrote: ↑13 Jun 2023, 19:52 Hello again,
Interesting indeed. I would be very surprised if 612 has returned here from Chateaudun. I’m sure I saw a picture of the D getting scrapped. I also walked around this shelter area 1 year ago and it was not present.
