In Switzerland, on 25 May 2023, the civilly registered Dassault (in full Avions Marcel Dassault-Breguet Aviation) Mirage IIIDS, HB-RDF (ex J-2012) will fly for the last time. The BAZL (Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt) no longer issues a Certificate of Airworthiness for this aircraft to the owner 'Fondation du Musée de l'Aviation Militaire de Payerne'. One more exception will be made for two farewell flights on May 25, 2023. That is during the festive weekend of the museum 'Clin d'Ailes' at Payerne. This museum, where the HB-RDF belongs in the collection, will celebrate its 20th anniversary from 24 to 26 May 2023.
