All 51 Stormo F-2000A re-codings reflect the last 2 of the serial .. the Airframe away in Romania May not have changed yet or indeed the 2 in store inside the 51 CM hangar !!
For clarity the F-2000B MM55132 retains 51-22 ( for now !!?)

Thank you for the update. I take it this is a recent development [last two of code to match last two of serial] When did they start doing this?
April 24th:
In Rome city at Piazza del Popolo a VdiF exhibition was during the weekend with the VF AB47 and AW139 based from CIA were here on static. When I was here 24th only AW139 VF-148 ( in blue sleeping bag) was on trailer ready to bring back to base.
