Active close by;
23642 Soko Super Galeb G4 – Serbian AF
23744 Soko Super Galeb G4 – Serbian AF
MOMA Side;
As previously discussed there were 3 x MiG21bis under netting - presumably the last fliers as one was carrying the cat mouth markings seen often on the later Serbian AF marked aircraft. Also under here was a 2 seat IJ22 Oreo again most likely awaiting overhaul.
I did not get the chance to see the Gazelle in the main hangar above but to the side was a fire door which gave a view in to the side of the main hangar. Of course it was netted off so I could only see the contents near the door which were a IJ22 Orao 5** on the nose and presumably another long lost one now getting overhauled back in to service now with the Serbian AF as well as a J4 Super Galeb on depth. I got swiftly moved on before I could identify them in more detail.
The Iraqis as above have all moved - only the MiG23 could be definitively confirmed. Photos shows the MiG21s behind but we could not get anywhere near.
Additionally preserved;
[23126] Soko G-2A, ex YAF - markings devoid
I did manage to get a look in to the yard at the back however with the following contents;
16182 MiG21UM, ex YAF
[23]726 Super Galeb G4, ex YAF - First ever sighting? Last recorded 1996
c/n 10979 [12411] Mi-8T - Boom of '12351' detached and from a different frame
Near the gate;
Replica cockpit amongst another cockpit? Plus a Gazelle which now seems to have had its paint removed. This was 12625 in 2017 in the same place?
Hope that helps,
Regards
