Just a quick question regarding the spotter day. I received the following information regarding the topic:

With reference to your e-mail, we wrote down your application to join the spotter day planned for June 16th, 2023 at the Italian Air Force Pratica di Mare military airport. In this regard, we are going to reply to your request before June 1st.

This looks like an automatic reply. In the e-mail they refer to the authorisation process, I cannot find it on the pages (using Italian VPN). Anyone any mor info?

I also applied for the photographers day, but never got a reply at all. Website is still not working. Luckily I registered for the regular open day before this sh*t started. Without working website also no options for press registration. And also no reply on an email about that...
I am looking forward to the show, but (at least this part of) the organisation is a disgrace!

Effect - Geo-fencing and delay in responding to accreditations to limit/disincentivise access to foreigners.

Just received confirmation for the Spotters Day, despite still being geofenced in Portugal. Another portuguese spotter also received confirmation, so the process is ongoing.

Does anyone actually know what the ‘spotters day’ consists of? I am assuming it is just additional access on families day, so less crowds etc but was curious if anyone has additional knowledge?

According to a slideshow circulating on Italian Whatsapp spotters groups, spotters will be on the opposite side of the runway on friday only, so with the sun at our backs.
