After a good night sleep, the target for day 2 was set to Hohn. If you want different photos, this is the place to be. You can position yourself all along the runway, so the options are the entry to the runway (Spot #7 in the airfieldguide), or further along the fence (spot #5), or go even further and hope for that one F-15 that stays really really low at spot #4.
I started my day a little bit down the runway, roughly between 5 and 7:
84-0010/MA F-15C 131st FS
86-0163/MA F-15C 131st FS
Seeing the second Eagle rotate, I walked further along the fence towards spot #5. This is more towards the middle of the runway. The first Hornets came out to play, and it proved to be a good decision.

Followed by the AJ-404 that tried to go absolutely ballistic.. compared to the Eagles? He failed.

The Fins came out to play, but kept it easy

The F-15s of the Bayou Militia started to show what was possible

83-0036/JZ F-15C 122nd FS
85-0112/JZ F-15C 122nd FS
84-0022/JZ F-15C 122nd FS
Some nice wheelies by the MA ANG on return followed:
86-0168/MA F-15C 131st FS

Both Growlers flew, with the AJ-500 leading the pack:

Followed by one of the F/A-18Fs present.
168930/AJ-213 F/A-18F VFA-213
The second wave started up, and the MA ANG started to show they could takeoff in a less easy way as well. Shame the light was already starting to come from behind.

The growlers returned, this time the AJ-503

One GFD Learjet took to the skies. It made me swallow a bit, realising that one crashed a few hundred meters away just a few months ago.

The sun now directly in the runway direction forced us to resort to shots in a different angle. The moments that I wish for a bigger lens, but still happy with the results.

86-0163/MA F-15C 131st FS

Hope you like them!
