I saw "H-4" (an ex Belgian AlouetteII) in 298 sq hangar at Gilze in October last year.

Meteor F.8: It’s marked I-189/7E-5 & the caption says: “the Gloster Meteor with registration I-187 (sic) is in truth the I-207”
Very interesting, I was told the same by someone else as well last week. EMOOS has this aircraft as the genuine I-189, while I-207 is in the Scramble database as fate unknown. Anybody who knows more?

Very interesting, I was told the same by someone else as well last week. EMOOS has this aircraft as the genuine I-189, while I-207 is in the Scramble database as fate unknown. Anybody who knows more?
Should indeed be I-207
In the section "nazorg" for the KLu serial books published by Flash Aviation from Eindhoven there is this update by the Meteor.

It used to be the other way around: then an aircraft in the air attracted the most interest,
now it is an aircraft over the road.
Airplane spotters in particular are there when an aircraft is moved over the road again.

Like this morning when a Convair F-102 Delta Dagger was transferred from the former Soesterberg airbase to Heerenveen on a low loader.

There the device is repaired at the company Smart Constructions.
...per this June 2023 it seems the F-102 Delta Dagger is in a very bad state, indeed.

The Convair is still in Heerenveen.
Closer inspection/scrutiny of this airframe after it arrived in Friesland revealed numerous defects and faults.
Chances are high this delta will not be repaired anymore, apparently,
even though an official decision had not been made yet, last month.

The many years this F-102 Delta Dagger spent in the harsh Dutch weather have done the jet no good at all... :(

...time will tell... :|

The story at the time of the transfer to Heerenveen was that the fin had (almost) come off during a storm in early 2022. But it is not just the Dutch climate... Before it came to Soesterberg, it belonged to the Greek AF and had been withdrawn from use there for many years, having been stored in the open. There are (or perhaps have been) many more F-102's lying about in Greece (including original Soesterberg birds, if I remember correctly), for instance at Tanagra and Elefsina. Theoretically, it should be possible to scavenge missing parts from those...
