Tour de France Transall

Post by camel1 »

Hello,

Today during a Dutch TV broadcast of the Tour de France I saw the hull of a Transall on a truck parked at the side of the road waiting for the peloton to pass. 61-ZF could be read, so according to Scramble this must be the C-160R R88 (?).
No idea where it was headed. Don't know what exact location, it must have been somewhre between Bourg-en-Bresse and Ambérieu-en-Bugey, but is was a roadrunner for sure.
