Intention was to only build 2 Frigates in Bremerhaven.
Kind regards.

Egyptian Casa295 inbound later this morning from Rome-Ciampino.
Showing as EGY2373 SU-BRU, 08.00z east of Rimini.
Do you know if this visit is linked to the Egyptian Navy Frigates in Bremerhaven? The second one was handed over on the 26th of May, the third should follow later this year.

That is not correct. The first one was delivered last year, the second one on the 26th of May. The third is still under construction at Stahlbau-Nord. The fourth is being build in Alexandria.

After 51 years of flying, first flight was in 1972, MFG 5 Sea King Mk.41 89+50 was written from use on August 9th, 2023.
One of it’s last rescue missions was on July 12th when it flew in a medical emergency to a ferry on the Baltic Sea 12km below Bagenkop, Denmark and took a ferry guest back to land.

MFG 5 unveiled it’s special painted Sea King Mk.41 for fifty years of operations. Obviously 89+63 got a mixed H-34G (dayglow-silver) and Sea King retro scheme.

No USN P-8 today. Will have to wait and see if the missing choppers actually do arrive.
