Monday morning a flight of local Typhoons took with destination Holzdorf and were scheduled to return by late afternoon. The F-16D's launched in between that flight therefore I assumed it they operated from Laage but could have been an occasional visit.

Both Duluth F-16D's have been noted at Laage on Monday-Wednesday (19th-21st) according to photos on FF. So likely just brief stopovers (and 846 nighstopping at Jagel on the 20th)

846 was at Jagel

846 was at Jagel
On the 20th, 846 left Spang for Jagel at 09.45 LT and it landed back at Spang at 15.19 LT. Both 915 and 843 flew a local mission from Spang that day between 14.01 and 15.28 LT, together with SP F-16s 344 and 416.
So it seems unlikely to me that 846 was a nightstopper at Jagel, or that the F-16Ds operated from Laage on the 20th.

The KY ANG is currently in the process of or just finished receiving the C-130J-30. These are not new build aircraft, but they get them via other units.

For anyone interested, a few of us kept a log of the AD'23 related aircraft movements from build-up till brake down. Just to understand how BIG this exercise would be! And although most aircraft are logged here already, we decided to divide the LOG into actual participants & support aircraft+ other vistors, spares etc.. I'm baffled by the immense logistical support from the ANG (tankers & transports) over the past 4 weeks alone, and we will keep this sheet updated for the final returns and logistical draw down.

The log can be found here;
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... qi/pubhtml

Although we have logged a lot, there a still some gaps (especially the daily locally based fighter a/c from Laage, Nörvenich, Neuburg, Volkel, Caslav as well as the Polish F-16's that joined). Send me a PM and I will add them to the list.

:yourock:
Small textual things: it's Wunstorf, not Wünstorf, plus Jagel is really named Schleswig (like here).

Thanks Sjoerd & co!

Thanks Erik, we'll amend it to Wunstorf!

As to Jagel, the enlisted airmen even call it Kropp-Jagel airbase as per NDR interviews. However, the Luftwaffe themselves use Jagel as official name; https://www.bundeswehr.de/de/organisati ... -immelmann

I am writing the complete Mil-visitor list of Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel since 2015, so send me a mail to herbymarc@yahoo.de to get a complete list for the Air Defender period.

Thx again for the overview!

As far as I could see F-16C 87-0229 from 120th FS had no CO code due to the special c/s.

ZK308/308 Typhoon FGR.4 RAF 1 Sqn dep 16-6
ZK322/322 Typhoon FGR.4 RAF 1 Sqn dep 16-6
ZK344/344 Typhoon FGR.4 RAF 1 Sqn dep 16-6
ZK347/347 Typhoon FGR.4 RAF 1 Sqn dep 16-6
Thanks to an article in Air Forces Monthly, the units should be:

ZK308 and ZK344 indeed 1 sq (apparently it wasn't 9 sq that was at Ameri, Estonia after all)
ZK322 and ZL347 3 sq (from the detachment at Akrotiri, Cyprus)
