Swedish combat pilots to train with Italy from 1 January 2024 for 10 years.
Swedish instructors first to Italy for instructions on Italian planes. A part of the training is planned with 61 Stormo on the Galatina airbase close to Lecce and the Decimomannu airbase.The Swedish instructors are send to both bases for eduction on the Italian airplanes and their eduction systems. The Swedish instructors are to serve as instructors on the Italian air school.
