Een Airbus A330 van KLM keerde afgelopen dinsdagmiddag terug naar Schiphol wegens een technisch mankement.

De machine, registratie PH-AOE, steeg 11:20 uur, een halfuur later dan de aanvankelijke vertrektijd, op in de richting van Sint-Maarten,

Over de Noordzee en Manchester vloog het toestel het Ierse luchtruim binnen.
Daar werd besloten om te keren.
Een woordvoerder van KLM laat aan AirLive.net weten dat het besluit samenhing met een technisch mankement.
De aard ervan is niet bekend.

De A330 werd een dag later vrijgegeven.

Het lijkt erop dat KL1105 niet naar Stockholm gaat. De PH-EZA draait momenteel rondjes boven de Flevopolder (Dronten/Lelystad).

Geen idee wat de oorzaak is.

Incident: KLM B739 enroute on Jan 20th 2024, de-icing system failed

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 29 hours after landing.

Het incident betrof een 33 jaar oude Boeing 747, registratie G-ONEE,
van de relatief nieuwe Britse vrachtmaatschappij One Air.

Het vrachttoestel vertrok iets voor 09.00 uur vanaf London Heathrow naar Hongkong.
Rond 09.20 uur sloeg de bemanning van het vliegtuig alarm en werd 7700 gesquawkt.

Een Boeing 747-400F van de Britse vrachtmaatschappij One Air
heeft donderdagochtend een voorzorgslanding gemaakt op Schiphol.

Het 33 jaar oude vliegtuig was op weg van Londen Heathrow naar Hongkong,
toen de bemanning besloot uit te wijken.
