Schiphol-based NL EASP AIR signed a lease on Wednesday (December 28)
whereby the Dutch service provider will move into Hangar 5 at Den Helder Airport in early 2023.
NL EASP AIR will use Hangar 5 as a parking and maintenance area for its Dornier DO328-110 Maritime Patrol Aircraft,
which are deployed in operations for the European Border and Coast Guard Agency.
The hangar will also be used for integration works on sensors and systems for Special Mission Aircraft.

NL EASP AIR is the first commercial Fixed Wing Operator to establish itself at Den Helder Airport.
This brings extra activities and high quality work”.

In the course of 2023, special Air Charter Operations will also be carried out to destinations in the North Sea”.
Part of the large hangar will house helicopters.
The remaining places are offered to business jet owners who can rent parking spaces for shorter and longer periods.

in the field of Maritime Patrol, Coast Guard, Search and Rescue (SAR) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.
This aerial support comes with Special Mission Aircraft (turboprops and jets) and advanced sensors and systems.
Second 'Dutch' Do-328 for NL EASP AIR

The second Dutch registered Dornier 328-110 of NL EASP
is currently being prepared for delivery as PH-EAB
at Deutsche Aircraft in collaboration with AeroRescue, Insight and ATS in Oberpfaffenhofen.
Executive Airborne Systems & Platforms (EASP) Air purchased a total of five Dornier 328s
These will be deployed for Maritime Surveillance, Airlift, MEDEVAC Support and ISR Support Operations,
among others, under a Frontex contract concluded in July 2021.
The first aircraft, the PH-EAE, arrived in our country in February 2022.

The third Dutch registered Dornier 328-110 of NL EASP Air
was flown to the Netherlands on Friday (23 February).
The aircraft was prepared for delivery at Deutsche Aircraft in collaboration with AeroRescue and Insight in Oberpfaffenhofen.
Executive Airborne Systems & Platforms (EASP) Air purchased a total of five Dornier 328s.

Den Helder Airport welcomed a Dornier 328 from NL EASP Air for the first time on Wednesday.
The aircraft received a water salute from the airport fire brigade upon arrival.
NL EASP Air, which specializes in maritime patrol missions, has a total of three Dorniers.
The company mainly flies for Frontex, the European border control organization.
A new contract was recently concluded with them.
At the end of 2022,
Den Helder Airport announced that NL EASP Air would be the first commercial fixed wing operator to establish itself at the airport.
A lease agreement was then signed allowing the company to install and maintain its Dornier 328 fleet in Hangar 5.
