In the past few days we've visited Elefsis two times. Below a rough log of the visits. If you have any additions, corrections, let me know.
When we landed at Athens on the 9th I had a clear view on the airfield and saw:
2 white aircraft at the VIP ramp (CAF-001 and 678)
1 grey EMB-145 on the adjecent ramp
6 C-27s and 1 C-130 on east ramp (4118 std/4120/4121/4122/4124 std/4125 std/741)
1 C130 parked at the west ramp (747)
1 C-27 taxi onto the runway (4117 PEG71)
2 CL215/415 on the ramp close to the gate.
Two hours later we drove around the airfield.
At the gate we notice a N.2501 was back on the empty spot. Is this still the same one as before?
On the west side, where F-5 (69136) is preserved, now also a F-104 is preserved. Anyone of the missing number? (7435 FG-435)
Near the gate we saw the two CL215/415s which we already had seen from the air, but didn't dare the read them. Another one was partly parked inside the hangar here.
Midfield a camo C-130 was dumped, anyone?
In the afternoon C-27 4120 PEG74 went airborne for a local flight.
Close to the white YS-11 (2143) on the northen dispersals an Orion was seen. And CL415 (2049) was parked here wel.
On the 11th we made a quick stop again.
Now three CL215/415s were outside near the gate. One was identified as 1110.
A NH90 made a short stop in the late afternoon, which was the ES-889.
I'm sure some other aviation enthusiasts were in the area. Hopefully some question marks can be answered.
Best regards Rob
