2 JMSDF SH-60Ks were lost at around 2238pm(JST), 20 Apr., 2024.
It happened during their ASW training about 600kmSSE off Tokyo, or about 200km East of Tori-shima(Tori-island).
At first, MINDEF released that it happened at 2238pm(JST) for the 1st. heli, and the 2nd. lost 2304pm(JST), but now they are checking its reliability.
There were 4 crews in each helicopter, so totally 8 crews were lost.
One was rescued, but recognized killed (0929am(JST),21 Apr.2024).
2 SH-60Ks were said that belongs to Omura(HS-22) and Komatsushima(HS-24), S/Ns were not known by now.
(0853am(JST), 21 Apr.2024)

P.S.
By the way, I posted this at 0853am(JST), 21 Apr.2024.
But displays "20 Apr 2024 15:53" on this site.
Which standard time do you use ?
