REQ: s/n F-104 or fake near Arnhem

Post by YOXA »

Hello,

Last Sunday I saw a Starfighter from the IJssel river (N51.954812, E5.947891)
Does anyone have more details on this?

Thanks in advance

It shows on Google Maps at the entrance of Firma de Koningspleij, but it is not registered in the W&R database so I assume it's a fake indeed?

First time I see it, but it looks a bit small to me. Measuring it with Google maps ruler shows a length of roughly 8 meters, while a real life Starfighter is 16 meters. Without pictures of the thing it is just a guess, but my guess is it just a scale model (half scale roughly).

Looks like the Starfighter model (half size) that was displayed in front of Museum Deelen.
