Sweden buys Black Hawk UH-60M, Helikopter 16 in Swedish terms.
United States approves the sale of Black Hawks to Sweden for 900 miljon dollars.
Total delivery with Austria is near 2 billion dollars.
On other sources they mention 36 Black Hawk and 9 Sea Hawk to Sweden.
Earlier have Sweden bought 15 Black Hawk.
The so called Helicopter investigation recommend buy of Black Hawk and sale of Helikopter 14.
Black Hawk have very much lower operating costs and Helicopter 14 very much higher operating costs.
The Black Hawk is much easier to operate and the Helikopter 14 need much more maintenance.
The Black Hawk is also a much more robust helicopter.
During the same time is not all of the Helikopter 14 yet delivered in time.
The Helikopter 14 is the NH Industries NH 90.
The Helicopter investigation also approves the disbandement of Helikopter 15 before 2030 and replace it with Helikopter 16,
(Helikopter 15 is Agusta Westland AW109).
Final order is expected.
