A Van's RV-7 crashed during an emergency landing near a farm in Ederveen.

Both occupants were injured and taken to hospital and the aircraft received substantial damage.

According to upinthesky.nl, there were two more incidents with light aircraft in NL that day: PH-SVT ran off the runway at EHRD and a glider crashed at Hoogeveen after hitting a lamp post on landing.

The latter was Discus 2T PH-1655/HI, a powered glider. In the crash, the airplane made a 180° degree turn and the tail was rotated 180° around the longitudinal axis, making it look like it had nosed-over and was lying upside down in a small pond. Luckily, that was not the case and the pilot got out with relatively light injuries, it is said. The motor is seen extended on crash site photos.
