Sukhoi article

Hi,

Some thoughts about the recently created Sukhoi article;

Now there is one article which basically covers both the new holding as well as the old OKB Sukhoi and also includes KnAAPO, all in one article.
Wouldn't it be better for the overview to split this in different articles, eg

• Sukhoi Company (the holding)
• OKB Sukhoi (the "old" design bureau)
• KnAAPO (production facility)
• NAAPO (production facility)
• TANTK (the "old" OKB Beriev)
• Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (or include this within the OKB?)
• Irkut SPC (production facility)

Was thinking about that. I found this info and decided to pour it into to the existing article, which only had some type links in it, and was wondering basically along the same lines as you.

The thing is, I know the info I put in, is about the present situation (not the OKB's history from it's founding day onwards), and KnAAPO should/could have it's own entry. But KnAAPO isn't a manufacturer perse, it's a production facility (for which the template has an entry), which produces aircraft for Sukhoi (and others).

As soon as I've retrieved my Sukhoi book I will take a look at it (unless anybody else beats me to it off course )
