Hi All,
During my vacation in Latvia I spotted a couple of times at Riga airport. Starting off with the excellent Riga aviation museum which is now west of the airport near the spotters hill. I understand the museum was in the past near the terminal on the east side. There is no clear museum sign but you can't miss the entrance where you have to ring the doorbell. After 5 minutes a guy on his bicycle will come to open the fence and collect the 10 euro entrance fee (he is working normally working in a building behind the Backfire). There is a lot of old metal of planes, cars, airport equipment etc. A small group of Russian speaking Latvians do their best to conserve and repair the large collection of Soviet era planes. If anyone has c/n please let me know as I have difficulty ID-ing many planes in my database. Will post Riga airport movements later.
