Volgens die rekensom zouden de zes nieuwe dus verdeeld worden: 1 voor 322, 2 voor 323 (ter vervanging F001/F002), 2 voor 312 (want pas 14 in lopende bestelling) en 1 voor 313.
Ik rekende 3x(15+2)=51+8 op Luke is 59.

Als F001/F002 buiten dienst gaan dus 56 operationeel inzetbaar. Nog 12 erbij en je kunt een vierde squadron vormen...

In de Leeuwarder Courant wordt gemeld dat 322sqn er 2 extra bij krijgt en de andere naar Volkel gaan, de tijd zal het leren.
Ik vermoed dat er in de komende jaren nog wel wat vervolg bestellingen zullen volgen

These were still stored at Oakey in a hangar in late July. Their scrap value is zero. They have been totally stripped for anything of value.

Defense NH90 fleet grows from 19 to 22 helicopters

THE HAGUE – The Defence Helicopter Command (DHC) will have three additional NH90 NFHs at its disposal.

This is evident from a letter that Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans sent to the House of Representatives on Thursday (24 October 2024).

Last month it became clear that Defence wanted to invest in additional NH90s.

The Defense Memorandum of early September
discussed the acquisition of six F-35s
and an as yet unspecified number of NH90s. This turns out to be three aircraft.

The Netherlands had twenty aircraft, but one of them crashed at sea near Aruba in July 2020.
By expanding the fleet with three new NH90 NFHs, the final number will be 22.

In his letter to the House, Brekelmans also reiterates the intention

to expand the three Dutch F-35 squadrons with six aircraft.
The Netherlands has ordered 52 F-35s, of which forty have currently been delivered.

The plan is to order five more and take a sixth on option.
For the sixth aircraft, the feasibility is being investigated "of an unmanned fighter aircraft capacity".

To this end, Brekelmans says he will "maximum focus on innovation and development with our partners and industry".
