A Yakovlev Yak-52, N5287, and a Nanchang CJ-6A, N313YK,
were involved in a mid-air collision during a formation flight near Lancaster, California.
The Yak landed on a road, and the pilot was not injured. The Nanchang impacted terrain in a spin, killing the pilot.
