Thessaloniki Air Parade 10 november 2024

The Hellenic Air Force hosted an air parade in Thessaloniki harbour to conclude their saint patron celebrations. Highlights were the Egyptian Silver Stars aerobatic team with 10 K-8E's and low flying Phantoms dropping flares. Also civil aircraft (A320 and 2 ATR's) took part in the parade.
The Egyptians were flying from nearby Makedonia airport were a total of 12 K-8E's were logged.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the log!

Your F-4E 01508 is most likely 01503 as 01508 is not seen active over the past years.

01503 can be recognized by the bad painting of the tail as a lot of paint came off during the removal of its special tail markings last year.
