Buochs (Pilatus) 2024

Post by erik_kamphuis »

Buochs blue Pilatus Maintenance hall.
Seen all inmates August 20th between 15.15-16LT because almost all doors were open.

From left to right:
Blue civil PC-6 HB-FKC
behind this a new Omani PC-9 with 649 (or 640) on paper over serial (c/n 649 should be serial 432 and flew the week before) and a 2nd Omani right from it.
In front of these Slovenian PC-6 (L6-)02
right of this one a gold civil PC-12 c/n 2313
And silver civil PC-12 with big "PC-12" text in tail.
In the right part 2 AME PC-21s E27-25/792-25/10311 with E27-(23?)/792-xx/10325?. And I thought a 3rd one was in the most right corner hidden.

Outside were PC-12s:
HB-FOG (Armasuisse)
544/D-FHRD
OH-PBL and a civil one in silver mks no reg seen.
Flying PC-12s:
HB-FWU, HB-FQD

Behind this hall was an Omani PC-9M with arabic serial 427 (maybe old fuselage?) std against the fence.

Any help on the missing (mil) serials is very welcome

Hola Erik,

Many thanks fro your log. About the Spanish PC-21s, the second one sighted could not be the E.27-23 because this one was delivered on Jun22. In a logical thought, this must be the E.27-26/10312.
Hope you will be able to read them better again.

Nice log.

Small detail about the location: it's called Buochs Airport or Flugplatz Buochs, the name has never been Stans-Buochs. Sometimes it's referred to as Buochs-Ennetbürgen, but that also hasn't been an official title as far as I know.

Hi, I changed airport to Buochs only.
Thanks all.
Is Omani 427 new fuselage already redelivered to Oman earlier?
On the 2nd PC-21 I can now read on the picture I took almost from front #103x5 in tail. When I am back in NL I can check better on computer.

The Mirage 3S is preserved in front off this hangar.

At Lodrino I saw 3 Sea Kings now outside std bagged Aug 20th.

Thursday 29th August two of us read that second one to be E.27-XX / 792-XX / 10325

I finally could check the pics I took August 20th on computer.
What I extra can read:
2nd AME PC-21 is E27-39/10325/792-3×
2 Omani inside: c/n 649 on paper (it flew the week before and after), other 427 in arabic (so the new one). The old 427 was behind this hall.

I don't think this is correct. 649 has been flying since august till Nov 8th. This aircraft was in full c/s already in August, so this will not revert back to primer. Was the paper on a rack?

Thank you very much for the information about Spanish PC-21.
These are the ones we already have flying in Spain.
