Norwegian energy company Equinor became the first to announce orders for the type, with 10 bookings.
The first four are scheduled to be delivered in 2026, with the remaining six arriving between 2027 and 2030.
Bell has again dispatched one of its 525 super medium flight test helicopters to Marquette, Michigan, for continued icing testing. N525BV (s/n 14) arrived in Marquette on Dec. 4
and continued to fly there through this week.
It now appears that Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification of the aircraft will move into 2025.
