France selects Pilatus PC-7 MkX

Post by Canberra TT.18 »

France has selected the Pilatus PC-7 MkX to replace the Sirrus SR-20/22 and Grob 120 used for (mainly) Phase 2 training
22 PC-7s will be used, as well as 12 simulators.

The aircraft are used by Babcock France from Salon-de-Provence and Cannet-des-Maures (Le Luc?).
This involves almost 11,000 flight hours and 6,500 hours of simulator training for approximately 120 student pilots each year.
