Sure

As far as the story goes (as it is just a story, no official statement), does not say whether the second engine, which is lying next to the aircraft, is considered 'OK' by the IVW.
As a side note, the IVW is the Dutch Transport Inspection; http://www.ivw.nl/en/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The fact is that over the last two weeks no work has been performed on the TMR! There where no people from BWIA ore an other organisation working to get the a/c back in airworthy condition and when I see the cockpit structure I seriously doubt her future.

Did they take the cockpit apart? What tasks are to be done on this bird? didn't start the Hadj season start last week november?
No, the cockpit is still on but there is quite some corrosion that needs to be removed / repaired. Tasks still open: refitt #3 engine, sheet metal repairs (all over the a/c), and severall electronic updates. And the Hadj indeed started last week but the TMR won't fly during this period.
It's interesting enough to conclude the pilots aborted a take off above V1 ( I assume V1 is below 140 kts with this a/c). There must be something serious to abort a take off run and to much going on to continue the take off. Has the crew ever mentioned anything about his?

Interesting assumption, but: V1 is 'speed beyond which it is unsafe to abort the take off run because one runs out of runway before the aircraft has come to a complete stop'. And I seem te remember the aircraft remained on the runway during the entire incident, didn't it? So basically, the actual V1 was never overrun. (Of course, they may have calculated a different V1, but I kinda doubt that.)
