First a warning, making pictures in Greece of an airport is not allowed (civil or military) even the travel agency warned us for this...
Youre most probably right, I just wanted to tell the people who want to go there to be carefull when making pictures at airports (as the travel agency warned us). Just imagine you have to explain to a greek policeman who want's to arrest you what HCAA rules of operation and the ones under HAF are (in Greek)(don't even know myself what it means), see what happened to Southern Pridephantom_phixer wrote: I'm sorry but this is false.
There are two kinds of airports in Greece. The ones under HCAA rules of operation and the ones under HAF.
In the first kind photography is allowed. It is legal. It is not prohibited. You can take pictures. Even if military aircraft land every now and then.
In the second kind of airfields, photography or noting down serial - tail numbers is not allowed. Forbidden. No-no. Bad. Even if you are trying to take a picture of the airliner you flew in.
