EHGR 12-09-2007, THG KLu and German Bo-105P

Today i had a very good photo opportunity at EHGR during the excersize, here are my photo's, enjoy them :!:

The Cougars Arrived first from EHSB

5 Minutes later the Chinooks Arrived from EHSB

Then the 2 Bo-105P's left; which was my main objective

After line up on the runway the whole formation left in a big mass take-off

Well, your pics shows clearly that the Cougar ain't that ugly...When the light is good they're wearing an atractive colourscheme!

But most of all I like your frontal shot of the German Bo-105, with their
empty rocketpods. Really nice! 8)

Thanxs for all your reactions,

In my opinion Gilze is the most beautiful field in holland to shoot pictures, but you have to know when the activities take place like for example this excersize. I also went to the north side of the 28 which normally isn't standard on this location due to the bad light. But in the morning hours (from 9 to 11) the light is coming from the east, sow the light on the hawkeye platform is perfect 8)

Redskin uses the very nice Canon D-30

Alex, great to see you again on the 28 and indeed...... great shots man !!!!

How was EHEH?

I was lucky enough to see the HAF leaving.
I hope you caught that as well

Copy the picture paste it into Photoshop, file info and taraaaaa!!! or use ACDsee open the pic, properties, all the info you want and it takes about 10 seconds...

@Remco, i used for the platform shots about 300 - 400mm and on the runway and the taxitrack about 200 - 300mm

@sfeyenoord1, i used the EOS30D and an canon EF 100-400mm lens

@Guinness, Gilze was better, in the late afternoon the light was in a bad position, and the taxi-track was almost unreachable. I missed the herc, but i allready had the Bo-105's at gilze, you can't have them all :wink:
