During the summer the Scramble editorial team has – aside from putting together the normal Scramble issues, publishing books, and (too!) going on trips and holidays – managed to publish a new series of airfield guides on the website. For the near future, a serious bunch of new guides is expected – they are currently in production – from 10 Greek airfields (some will be published in Scramble magazine first). And there is more to come! These will be added to our already huge list of guides, all designed to help you make the most of your trip home and abroad. This way we will be able to continue updating the guides, making sure we offer you and your fellow spotters the latest information for your next trip.
Send in your pictures!
Also, help us illustrate the airfield guides with photo material. Not just the ‘difficult’ or far away airports need illustration, also the description of the airport ‘just around your corner’ may need a picture (e.g., San Francisco, Boscombe Down, Hilversum, Liège and Lhasa). Send us your stuff and – when suitable, meaning: taken from one of the mentioned spots or a new spot, and possessing some quality – we process it for the site. And since a picture is worth more than a thousand words: send them in!
