Can anyone identify the White/Blue MI-8/17 which departed late Sat afternoon from the far end. (He departed just before the Orao display) we were in the queue for the bus at the time. We also noted a large twin in the civil area when we drove past on the motorway on Sunday - this might have been the L-410 which SGW is looking for.
Apart from the Serbian AN-26 and the aircraft in the flying display, was there anything else up at the far end?
Also a long shot! Back at Brno city on the Saturday early evening, an air ambulance heli (EC135?) passed directly overhead at low level. No reg on the underside that I could see but the ambulance logo was clearly visible.
I think I managed to identify all the flypast aircraft on the Saturday from my photos. On the Sunday though, we saw the flypast from the motorway on our way to Vyskov. Apart from the addition of the A319 which was not present on Saturday, can anyone confirm if there were any differences in the aircraft used on Sunday?
It was quite an impressive flypast. On the Sunday, it actually seemed even more impressive from the motorway as the whole formation passed us at flypast height, several miles from the airfield. The MI-17/171s actually flew past the Vyskov museum at low level on their way home to Prerov - pity my camera was still in the bag. Hopefully somebody else got a shot.
