Twenthe 09/10/07

Post by erik_kamphuis »

Yesterday evening at 21.15h LT a heavy sounded chopper crossed my village from the direction Germany (Bentlage/Gütersloh) to Twenthe. Think it should be mil. Anyone logged some at that time overhead NL??

Today (10-10) I saw a flight of 2 AW139's of CHC Helicopters fly over Zeewolde, heading southwest. Anyone for the numbers? And what are they doing all the way here? Thought they were mainly used for offshore activity? Can't remember this part of our country is part of the route to EHKD...

Bea-flight?

Post by erik_kamphuis »

@ phkza:

See at SIS-forum:
These 2 choppers should fly Beatrix (and Kohler?) to Twenthe..., so they changed in 2 AW.139s, serials not read yet (maybe see Panoravia site this evening?)

PHSHKForm. A139 (PH-SHK) & S-76 (PH-NZW) CHC Helicopters.

ETA 09:00LT (to Malieveld)
ETD 10:00LT (to Twenthe)

Yesterday (monday october 15th) I saw a UH1 flying near Dronten. As far as I could see it it was a German SAR UH1. Does anyone know what serial the Huey had?

Jimmy, although there is a big chance that this was indeed the same Huey as the one at Soesterberg and/or Koksijde, I've not seen this confirmed yet. Unless, you've got some other information...

While entering from the NE first a refuelling at Soesterberg!

At my website you can download an mp3file of this particulary Huey inbound EHSB at only 500 feet.

Twente area October 18th 2x F-16

Post by erik_kamphuis »

Since we don't have any F-16's at Twenthe anymore, every overflying one can be interesting!?!
Today at 14.30h 2 F-16's crossed Delden low from north to south, probably Dutch ones, but maybe others...?
Anyone logged them?

TIA,
Erik

Hoi,
