Is there an update on this matter?? I don't want to be sensational but I am personally rather tired of people screwing up things for others in this hobby!

Nevertheless, have a great weekend! 8)

Hi Remco,

Just last Wednesday I was at Florrenes, and at that time the unconfirmed story was that Dutch spotters had gained access through the main gate at the Belgian side of the base in order to visit the Spitfire museum. After entering the base they did a self guided tour to the TLP area on the other side of the base.

Apparently they entered the TLP flightlines and photographed all they wanted. Story has it that they ignored several common safety standards around active aircraft and even commanded working personnel aside for their photographic needs.

Mind you, this is the story that was told last Wednesday, and I don't have any confirmation or more details about it. I don't even have the exact date on the incident. Nevertheless I think that TLP will be more than willing to deliver the names of the people involved. Care to call....?

I'll bet the offenders are reading here as well, so I wonder if they care to comment before the names leak out and the story will lead its own life.

Curious regards,
Iwan Bogels

PS: If this is the correct version of the story, I think I do have an opinion about it......

Lost gloves

Post by theo »

Hi guys,
Sorry to bother you but I lost my Gaastra gloves (red) during the very grey Wednesday December 12th, 2007 TLP session. If anyone found my gloves I would be more than happy to receive them back! Costs to send them to me will be reimbursement obviously.
Thanks,
Theo

Anyone know which 3 AV F-16s were out on the TLP ramp on November 27th? The TLP mission was cancelled and 1 was in the maintenance hangar I guess. Any help much appreciated!

Cheers,

Koen

Hi Trout89, thanks for the log.

Some small corrections:

The German Tornado's are ECR, not IDS
RAF Tornado is ZG707
AV-8B+ MM7213/1-12 is MM7218

bye, Per

Did see some red gloves lying next to the barbed wire of th efence on the west side on Thursday but obviously could not tell whether they'd be lying there for 1 hour or 1 month as no one claimed them to be theirs. Assume by now they are either frozen to the fence or trambled by cows....

Hello Crizz,

Could you confirm the presence of the F-16C 89-2011/AV?

It does not quite fit in my overview, as all four others were seen as well in these days.

thanks!

So we need to have photo ID proof for 2011 or it is a misread that it needs to be the 2041.
Anybody an photoID from 12-12?
Goodmeurnin',

take-off on my picture (unsharp) 13:24 and landing 14:56 on 12 december of 89-041/AV !

Shall I mail you the picture or do I have to place it in the photo-forum?

Greetingsenzo,
Bert.
