Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

After the big success of the "Soesterberg Spotters Archive" I think this might interest some of you aswell? Even a few people from the Soesterberg Archive can be found on the following pictures, all shot during last years base tour in Romania:

Hi Wijgert,

Haha ! Maar Chrizz zei het mooi: " Strange kind of people".

Groetjes,
Iwan

PS: Ik heb dit jaar ook Roemenen gefotografeerd......maar niet in Roemenië

Haha, how was your own visit in September ? Did you manage to shoot some L-39's as you asked for ?

Regarding the Union Jack.....I would'n't know for sure. But my first thought would be "spotter".

Cherio mate,
Iwan

PS: Romania is nice for the women, but what about Siauliai main street. Pfff !!!

Nice topic Wijgert.
Yeap, Chris this is fact! That's for sure... But have you ever seen the pictures of the annual Romanian philatelist occasion already?

Oow, noemen ze dat zo... Press Tour!?

Hmmm... actualy I managed to shot a few indead! But as you can see it was crowded...
Iwan Bogels wrote: PS: Romania is nice for the women, but what about Siauliai main street. Pfff !!!
That just depends which women your talking about, if it is your own woman... then I doubt that!

It sure does, it sure does! Thanks for sharing these two! Excellent! It's a good start, would have expected more pictures from others... Judging on the large delegation which was present, I expect more of these kind of pictures have been made by others...

Perhaps I can find some pictures of the famous "night of Buzau" which I have taken with my mobile phone, and I know that there are also some pictures of the famour "Morning after the famous nicht of Buzau"... I got some very "sour" memories, and wasn't that happy during the time that the pictures where shot! So I would not be suprised if they would show up! ;)

A Call up to all Romaniacs... keep your pictures coming, I'm curious!

Oké, especially for Wijgert some more.
