That can't be right. I can remember this bet very well (and the consequence), but I have been to Luxeuil only once: 28 May 1992. I think that is the correct date.

Erwin
the date was written on the backside of the photo hans gave me...,
maybe hans can check it?

some more slides,

ron duurland, rene, and gerard heijmen, truck spotting!?! looking for the Cn nr?

Erwin is right it is 28 May 1992. I won about 80 guilders that day. What consequence do you mean ????

Yeah, I remember this too.

But I also remember that over half of the people who took the bet, afterwards couldn't "remember" they had to pay, or at least not the amount of money they promised beforehand :-(

Like the picture though 8)

Well, you running around on the taxiway :D
And if I can remember well, a Jaguar stopping for you? Or was that just the legend created afterwards?

Well I was standing next to it and to my recollection it was a French Vampire, am I right, Hans? (he must have seen it, being eye to eye with this bird).

I'm a Twenthe spotter by the way, and it's telling that the only spotter's archive on this forum is abot Soesterberg spotters: they were certainly the craziest bunch of spotters I was ever around :D

And if any of the other spotting groups feel challenged by this remark: please go ahead and create your own archive over here, it's a lot of fun!

Jeroen.

No, it were two French Jaguars. But they did not stop.
