Could somebody please confirm for me, as to whether 'The Red Arrows' will be appearing at this years 'International Air Fair' as I have read on another aviation forum that they are away that weekend?

That is correct, they will be on their way to Canada (Quebec) at that time for the 400th anniversary of the city of Quebec. They will be back by Waddington normally.
